This website is an attempt to cut through so much of the fear and confusion that surrounds the book of Revelation. Too many people believe that Revelation is a book that cannot be understood. People seem hopelessly lost by the imagery found in its pages. The rise of television programs, radio broadcasts, and books has only compounded this problem. The Bible was written so that average people could read the words found on its pages and understand the meaning. The scriptures are not reserved for the highly educated seminary students and professors. No one should feel like the book of Revelation is unapproachable to the average person. Most of Revelation’s difficulties comes from our lack of knowledge of the Old Testament prophecies. The images in Revelation have a foundation in prophetic books of the scriptures. By connecting Revelation to the Old Testament prophecies I believe we can understand the book as the first century audience did. Revelation Made Clear walks through the book of Revelation looking for the clearest and most natural understanding of the book. You can understand the book of Revelation. Open your Bible and read the book of Revelation. Appreciate the imagery and enjoy the drama as it unfolds in the book. When you need some assistance in your study, the website is here to help you follow along in the story.

Who Are You?

My name is Brent Kercheville and I have devoted more than ten years of study to the book of Revelation. I currently minister at a church of Christ in West Palm Beach, Florida. I am married to a wonderful wife and have three terrific little girls. I am no one special. I have not been formally trained by a seminary in the book of Revelation. I am just like you — a person with great curiosity for Revelation. Believing the Bible can be understood by all people, I have studied Revelation for myself. What you are reading and listen to on this website is the fruit of my studies. These are my lessons as presented to the congregation in West Palm Beach. I do not pretend to assert that this website is the definitive answer for every difficulty in Revelation. I also plan to continue to study the book once this series is completed. Therefore, I expect that I will see more things and “tweak” my views as I continue to study Revelation. But even with these things in mind, I strongly believe that these expositions are the appropriate foundation for the study of Revelation. I am sure that you will disagree with some points in this study. I only ask that you consider the point I am making and do not dismiss it without reflection. My prayer is that it will encourage you to study the book of Revelation and see the book clearer than you ever have before.
